Authorising a third party to collect ordered Statements on your behalf
Can someone else collect my Statement of Academic Record or Statement of Qualification on my behalf?
You can authorise someone else to collect a document on your behalf, this is sometimes referred to as a 'proxy'.
If you have ordered your documents using the online portal or studentConnect you can enter the person's name into the field for 'Person collecting order'. In this case the person collecting will simply need to show their own photographic ID when they come in to collect your ordered document.
If the above process has not been followed, then you can:
- Provide the person collecting your document with a letter that includes your student number, the full name of the person, the document you've ordered, the date and your signature. When they collect your document they'll simply need to show this letter and their own photographic ID, for example a Driver’s Licence or Passport, when they come to collect your ordered document.
- Send us an email authorising the person you've organised to collect your document using the "Email Us" option and login with your student details. The email should include the document you ordered, and the full name of the person collecting your document. In this case the person collecting will simply need to show their own photographic ID when they come in to collect your ordered document.
